After surviving the horrors of Murderworld –Tokyo Edition, the band heads back to the states for one last show. Welcome to the Big Apple. If you can make it here, then you can make it anywhere. As Dazzler and her crew set up inside the prestigious Grand Garden Arena, fans outside the building are giving the Clikclok servers a run for their money. No other event has generated as many Cloks as this one. Speaking of computer software, someone is trying to hack the show’s special effects system right now. Better launch the antivirus protocol, Multiple Man. It’s go time!
Will the mysterious saboteur dare show their face with such a huge mutant presence inside the Grand Garden Arena? Why are Domino and the Multiple Man copies acting so Boomer towards each other? Can Kamala Khan and her friends get backstage before the concert begins? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
Even though this miniseries was written for an audience much younger than the Gen-X’ers who grew up with the original, Dazzler – Volume 03 was still an enjoyable time sink. For the purest X-Men fans out there concerned over woke messaging, there is none of it here. Just a fun mystery wrapped around a series of concert events. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you’re a Dazzler fan, then check this series out. My only criticism would be towards Marvel Comics as a whole. C.B. Cebulski, where are the real world audio tracks? It would be nice to actually HEAR the music behind the Dazzler sensation. With that said, I give both Issue #4 and the series as a whole four out of five stars.
