“Zukala’s Daughter”
On the road to Shadizar. It has been weeks since Conan survived the tower of Yara the sorcerer. Now the Cimmerian faces a new threat even more dangerous than magic spiders. A shapeshiftering tiger woman named Zephra has laid siege to a Zamorian Village, leaving Conan caught in the teeth of an immortal tyrant.
The safe option is to move on. Conan chooses his lust for beautiful women and gold over ordinary sensibility. The Barbarian will now trek into the nearby forest, searching for a castle that may not exist. There his prize awaits. The hunt is on!

Review
Roy Thomas returns with his adaptation of “Zukala’s Hour” — a poem written by Robert E Howard. With Barry Windsor-Smith on pencils and Stan Lee editing, to me, this is the golden age of Marvel Comics. I give issue five of Conan The Barbarian four out of five stars.
