Reviewer Notes
When things look down and life is getting you blue, there is always a happy place inside a classic-style Archie Comic. Betty & Veronica take over the night with brand new stories revolving around the great American sleepover. Grab your pajamas and s’mores and get ready to party!
Even though I don’t like the new style Archie covers with the gradient color schemes, everything inside this book is old school to the max. The writing and art here is a much needed break from the horror theme books Archie publishing has been cranking out the last few years. This book may not be for everyone, but old school fans will definitely enjoy this book.
I admit Sabrina is my favorite character within the Archie universe, but the Cabot’s are a close runner-up. There is plenty of that here as Dan Parent leads the charge in this wholesome jaunt through teenage American culture. I’m giving this sleepover four out of five stars!
