Danny Korves is the creator and writer behind Relic Keep, a horror comic book review blog dedicated to exploring the strange, supernatural, and sometimes downright ridiculous corners of comic-book history.
A longtime fan of horror and comics, Danny has a particular fondness for vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, monsters, and those wonderfully bizarre supernatural stories that filled comic racks during the Bronze Age. His interests range from classic Marvel horror titles such as Tomb of Dracula and Werewolf by Night to modern independent comics and new interpretations of the genre.
Relic Keep grew out of a simple idea: read horror comics, preserve their history, and have some fun talking about them. Reviews aren’t written from the perspective of a professional critic, but from that of a fan who still gets excited about discovering an old comic—or finding a new series worth sinking his teeth into.

How I Review Comics
I’m a comic-book fan first and a reviewer second. I don’t approach every issue looking for something to criticize. I want to be entertained. Story, artwork, atmosphere, characterization, and good old-fashioned monster mayhem all play a part in my ratings. Some comics are masterpieces. Others are complete disasters. Strangely enough, sometimes the disasters are just as much fun to write about.
