“Mallard Family Values”
He’s the dad who works during the day and parents by night. He’s the average Joe monotonously saving for his daughter’s college education. He’s Drake Mallard, inventor extraordinaire!
We last left Darkwing Duck as he retired from crime fighting to spend quality time with young Gosalyn (even if she didn’t ask for it). Now the Mallard family has made their way to the dark forests of Transylvania. Drake intends to propose marriage to his dark-sweetheart, Morgana Macawbra. The only obstacle standing in the way of Gosalyn’s two parent household is Morgana’s ghoulish father Moloculo Macawber.
Elsewhere, City Park – St. Canard, something has just snatched all the city gardeners. In distress, Major Owlson rushes to light the Darkwing signal, but no help arrives. Who will save the city from the thistle weed terror? Let’s get Dangerous!

Reviewer Notes
Dynamite continues to release solid editions to the Darkwing Duck universe. Drake Mallard decides to settle down and marry his old sweetheart. If leaving the crimefighter’s life was only that easy. I’m giving this issue four out of five stars.
