“Blood Hunt – Part 01”
Earth has been invaded by vampires, and there is only one man to blame. Blade the vampire hunter! With all of the Avengers dead, the Daywalker retreats under a darkened sun to the Sanctum Santorum for council. As Clea uncovers Blade’s true intentions, the ghost of Victor Strange lurks in the shadows nearby.

I said it before, and I will say it again. I will not purchase any of the Blood Hunt crossover books other than those that are part of my regular pull list. With that out of the way, I really enjoyed this cliffhanger issue of Doctor Strange even though it was mostly centered around Clea and the rogue “Blade”. Was this really the Daywalker? I have my doubts.
Clea can stand on her own, no problem, but will her heart betray her? I have a feeling Bats and his two snake friends will break free from their prison and return to save the day. Time will tell, but at least I know this is a solid four out of five stars. I just hope that the next issue of Fantastic Four will summarize just enough of the Blood Hunt event so I can follow along.
