“The Exorcism at Buckingham Palace – Part 01”
The royal family has been lost at sea. With only one descendant in line to the throne, King Adrian must act quickly or the United Kingdom will collapse in turmoil. There is one concern, however. The King’s grandson has a dark stigma reflected throughout the tabloid media. That of his mother’s death, and the creature they both claim haunts them from the shadows.
As the Prime Minister and American Government work to locate the royal yacht Britannia, Prince Theo Belmont is forced into the limelight by means of a social media blitz. Who is Lydia Harcourt? Has Theo recovered from his alcoholism? Did Princess Odette really see ghosts and goblins? And what really happened to the yacht, Britannia? These questions and more will need to be addressed before the public will accept the legitimacy of Theo’s rule.

Writer Hannah Rose May and Artist Kelsey Ramsay have created this next installment on the IDW Dark label. I have not read the related works (i.e. The Exorcism at 1600 Penn), but this was a fun jaunt into modern horror ideas and concepts. What haunts the Royals at Buckingham Palace? I have no idea, but I can’t wait to find out! This was a solid four-star comic book all the way. Get it today!
