“Menace From The Depth”
In the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, east of the North Am coastline, an explosion has just rocked one of the city’s underwater food processing labs. An automated distress signal calls out to the nearest rescue robots, but the act is in vain. All human and robot occupants aboard the structure are killed within seconds.
On the command bridge of North Am’s Sub-Ship 86, Magnus and the Navy Captain exchanged thoughts. Professor Stark was correct. His robot creation, T-1, had gone insane after an energy surge scrambled its moral-control cells. Now the Think-Rob wants to destroy humanity at all costs. As the ship’s Captain begins to communicate back to his superiors, Magnus has the grim task of informing Senator Clane that his daughter was just killed at Processing Laboratory 7.
