“Dreamers of Dreams Part 1: Nights With Sleepless Sorrow”
The walk down the prison hallway was a long one. Cell after cell of convicted killers spew their hatred at Artie as he walks toward the last convict on the left. It is the week of execution, the convicted is one August Ferrill. Artie is on the hunt for one last interview with the most notorious cannibal of this century. Will the monster give the reporter any clues? Why did so many women have to die?
Across the country random women are having the same nightmares. Each run from some tentacle spewing hag, somewhere deep inside a never ending hellscape. None ever awaken again.
Two days later Artie contacts his old writing partner, Jack Gold. Jack has acquired a reputation for taking the creep cases. This story is just another in a long list being pushed off to him.
Can Jack, former member of the Night Force, help unravel the mystery to the nightmare monster? Will he contact Baron Winters or go it alone? Does August Ferrill feast upon flesh once again? Collect the series to find out.

I like this one. Reminds me of some of the Spawn storyline. At least it is something besides the Bible mythology.
