“The Tempest – Part 03”
Race for medicine! Asif Singh has ordered all things of value taken from the Bandar village. That includes their precious medical supplies. As the Phantom hangs onto a heavily armed jeep bound for a makeshift airfield, the acting chieftain of the Bandar plays coy with the leader of the Singh Brotherhood. If the medicine for Guran’s father leaves the jungle, the elderly man has no chance to survive. The Phantom must act now!
Nearby, in a jungle clearing, one of Asif’s men breaks through the brush holding a broken arm. His injuries are severe but not life-threatening. A heavy lift helicopter waits thirty yards away as the door gunner is on high alert. No one boards without Brotherhood approval. The wounded mercenary stumbles towards the doorway shouting about ghosts. A living ghost to be exact.
Can the Phantom recover the villagers’ precious medical supplies before they are airlifted to a foreign black market? How many generations of Asif’s family have fought against the immortal Phantom? Will Diana Palmer wait for Kit Walker inside the Skull Cave? Collect the series to find out!
Review
The drama continues to build as Kit Walker must choose between stealth and direct intervention. Time is running out! For the readers, writer Ray Fawkes has definitely mastered action sequences. For those looking for a straight adventure comic, this one will definitely do. I give issue three of the Phantom four out of five stars
