The Amazing Spider-Man is known throughout the hero community as a supporter of the technical arts. He has debuted many gadgets over the years; some crediting university student Peter Parker for the assistance. In our investigation into the “spider-tech” we have contacted many eyewitness who claimed they have seen the masked vigilante use such items with different levels of success.
One such New York resident claims to have seen a “spider-mech” being fielded during the 2019 invasion of the frost giant army from the realm called Niflheim. This event would come to be known as the “War of the Realms”. During the “War of the Realms” our source claims to have see a team of Avengers blindly working with Spider-Man during a battle near the Brooklyn Mall. Two photos provided to the Tabloid corroborates our eyewitness claims. Spider-Man was piloting some type of “web warrior” construct.
Our question to the Mayor of New York City is simple. Should a vigilante who’s identity is still unknown be trusted with advance tech of this nature? What if there were innocent children playing on the sidewalks during this event? How many would survive under the crushing weight of such machinery? Think about the elderly. Would they be mobile enough to dodge such destruction?
