“The Infernal Marriage”
With the murders of several powerful Sorcerers looming, Stephen and Clea Strange have just arrived at the wedding of Umar the Unrelenting and Tiboro of many names. As the celebration begins, all suspicion lies upon Clea of the Dark Dimension, however Doctor Strange has eyes upon another possible suspect. With the gathering of so many high profile magic users it is safe to assume an attack is imminent. Stephen decides to lay low for now.
As the crowds gather closer for the ceremony, Umar ignores her guests and relatives in order to berate Clea with a life lesson on marriage. Nearby, Stephen mixes words with the oaf Tiboro as the warlord tries to intimate the Sorcerer Supreme. What’s love have to do with holy matrimony anyway? It’s just a second hand emotion. Before spells are cast or lives taken, an unexpected guess opens a gateway to the event. Doctor Strange prepares Shield of the Seraphim as Dormammu announces his arrival to the stunned onlookers. Things have just become interesting indeed.

Obscure character alert, obscure character alert! I think the assassin has just been fingered. Don’t expect Dormammu to stick around and help out or anything. What a tool. I was a little worried that Volume 06 of Doctor Strange would be filled with poor writing and the woke agenda. Surprisingly not so. There are several powerful personalities at play here. We even get the references to the W.a.n.d. team. So far so good. I’m giving this issue a strong four out of five stars. If you are a Strange fan I would recommend this series.
