Hallows’ Eve – The Big Night

Hallows’ Eve – The Big Night

My Rating

Rating: 3 out of 5.

“The Big Night”

Halloween night, Empire State University,  chanting noises can be heard from the third floor boy’s dormitories. Ken, Chad, and Armand had no knowledge of the Incantation they were performing, it just seemed like a cool thing to do while they waited for the party outside in the campus courtyard to truly begin.

The “spell” seemed to be a dud. That was until one of the boys produced a mummified thumb purchased straight off the Eway auction website. The seller had to be legit, right? He was a “demon” after all. As the freshmen gave the Incantation one more college try, that’s when the light show began.

Courtyard, Empire State University, Janine Godbe had felt a presence resembling energy emanating from the Limbo Dimension. In the guise of Hallows’ Eve she strolled through the college party goers looking for the disturbance, then a blue haze began to develop over a section of the crowd. It was a portal. It had to be! Within seconds horrendous beasts began to rain down upon the unexpected students.

What strange artifact did the boys in dorm room 32 purchase off the global auction site Eway? Why have all of Janine’s Halloween masks been replaced with Avenger characters? Will the Limbo embassy take full responsibility for the portal breach conjured by dumb freshman students? Buy the issue to find out!

Reviewer Notes

Janine Godbe is back in action, and it’s her special night. Can she battle all of her mask personalities with a new set of Earth born ones? Who is the demon d*ck selling Limbo artifacts to children?

This one shot is basically a battle royal, Halloween style. If you are looking for a good time filler, this will do. There is no continuation into another series as far as I can tell. I enjoyed the book, but it’s a one time read. I’m giving it three out of five stars. I hope to see more of Janine. She needs to dump Ben Reilly though, he’s nothing but trouble.
