“Issue 04”

Colonel Oats has tricked Bill and Ted into opening a portal from hell to the most excellent San Dimas. Now the full might of Satan’s army has split out into the shopping mall district. Oats is one major dill-weed!

As the raiding party of Nicholas Paganini, Doctor Feelgood, Aleister Crowley, and Wylde Stallions battle their way past a horde of skeleton warriors, Some’gina focuses his most Bogus attack on the boy’s soles.

Will Bill and Ted’s finally obtain their long sought-after shredding abilities? Can Aleister Crowley sweet talk the princesses into a little sex magic? When did De Nomolos snap? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

This was a really fun miniseries to follow. The writer and artist stuck to the traditional look from the movies, which included some of the locations. I was a bit irked that they gave the princesses a really generic look. Why not draw them to look like they did in the movies?

I was also confused by the ending tagline “Next up, Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey”. I thought this story took place after the battle of the bands in Bogus Journey. Now the writer has this taking place before the second movie. I don’t get it.

I’m giving issue four of Roll the Dice four out of five stars.
