“Beginnings and Endings“
A bomb has been placed inside the manifold on Marlon’s twin engine Cessna. Somewhere over the desert in the American southwest, the bomb detonates, forcing the airplane to crash. The Marlon and his passenger survive but are now being hunted by mercenaries. Who is in charge of the armed men? Marlon has no idea. All he knows is they have orders to shoot to kill.
Marlon and Mathew Ryans sneak under the cover of darkness until they stumble into the original members of the Challengers of the Unknown. The elderly investigators have just arrived to search the crash site. Mathew is suddenly startled. Two of the original members were killed years ago in an explosion. Time to disclose some history on both sides of the aisle!
What’s with all the plane crashes? Why are bright lights being seen before and after the incidents? How is a guy in his eighties doing backflips like an Olympic champion? What happened to the original team after Challenger Mountain exploded? Collect the series to find out!

More of the new team origins are revealed in this issues. We get a glimpse of the original Challengers’ story as well. Pretty interesting stuff. I would recommend the series if you like science fiction and horror comics.
