Reviewer Notes
The action seems to stumble all over the place in this issue of Darkwing Duck. I know the target audience for this series is children, but how long can you drag out a simple retrieve the missing object quest? I think kids can handle a more complex storyline for the most part.
I can’t remember much about the television show, but did Herb Muddlefoot know Darkwing’s secret identity? In this issue Darkwing invites Herb on a mission in the Thunderquack. Gosalyn is on board with Herb during the flight. I know Herb is not the brightest egg in the henhouse, but I think he would have put two and two together at some point. Darkwing Duck is Drake Mallard.
I’m giving this issue three out of five stars. This issue didn’t have enough content to justify anything more. Sorry Darkwing, maybe next time.
