Doctor Strange – Volume 06 Issue 10

Doctor Strange – Volume 06 Issue 10

My Rating

Rating: 3 out of 5.

“Nebraska – Part 02”

Launch the Zeppelin! Doctor Strange has engaged in battle for the first time with his alter ego but the lended powers of the Trinity of Ashes is not enough to claim victory. Now Stephen’s only hope is tied to the one thing General Strange doesn’t have, friends.

Over the battle zone a familiar sight pops into range. It’s none other than the Psycho-zeppelin of the Freaky Doktor Zee.  Inside Wong and the Agents of W.A.N.D. prepare an attack in which the general has never seen in the thousands of years of war he has waged. The Hallucinogenerators are fully powered and the Psychedelitron is up to speed. It’s time to introduce this homicidal maniac to the world of Psychedelics!

Will Doctor Strange be able to defeat his altar ego before Earth’s children are used as demonic soldiers? Did Clea really murder Aggamon in a fit of blind rage? Will Bats and Donna become inseparable friends? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

We’ve reached the final issue of Doctor Strange for 2023 and I can say it has been a Rollercoaster ride of good issues and some not so good issues. I like the War of the Seven Spheres story arc, but I think they dragged it out a little too long. My favorite issue had to be the one with all the bad Sorcerers listed at the end. Walrus Sorcerer equals belly laughs.

As for issue ten, I didn’t expect this ending whatsoever. Good old Doktor Zee to the rescue. It appears Zee and Pandora Peters have embraced being good guys. Let’s hope the same for General Strange.

I don’t know the full history of Doctor Strange, so I can’t speak for the mega fans out there. I can say however, that this has been a solid run for volume six as of issue ten. Yes, things could be tightened up a bit, but you have to remember Stephen did just come back from the dead. I give this issue three out of five stars.
