Who’s that high roller walking off the elevator wearing the Las Vegas Aviators baseball jersey and tight shades? Jamison…! Shut your mouth! I’m just talkin’ about J. Jonah… Actually, it’s your touristy neighborhood wall crawler, Spider-Man. The Casino is all a buzz with the news of Joe Fixit tossing crime boss, Kingpin, to the curb. Spider-Man has been invited to the penthouse suite for a little R&R.
Elsewhere, in a private airplane hangar at the Harry Reid International Airport, Wilson Fisk is in the middle of hostile negotiations with one of his hired scientists. The PhD is trying to explain the downfalls of attacking Spider-Man with a neurotoxin. The hero’s mask is equipped with filtering tech. The wall crawler is not the intended victim of the flustered Kingpin. Time for Joe Fixit to seek new employment opportunities!

Peter David had me at page four, panel one. If J. Jonah Jamison only knew. This issue was short but sweet. We find out one of Grey Hulk’s weaknesses and one of Peter Parker’s strengths. No, it’s not his ability to dress to impress. We do get a possible villain cameo but not sure who it is. A mutant? Possibly an Inhuman? This issue is a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
