If He Should Punch Me!
Friday morning at the Daily Beagle building, J. Jonah Jackal is about to fire his top reporter and photographer. Peter Porker and Steve Mouser break out in cold sweats as the loudmouth editor and chief gives them one last chance to prove their worth. The two must find out who is sabotaging the games at the Video City Arcade by three o’clock!
Later that morning in front of the arcade, a huge group of protesters gathered in front of the arcade. This is the parent’s organization known as P.A.W.S. Steve and Peter push their way through the crowd in order to get to the front doors but it is a scramble. As they weasel in between angry moms and pops a businessman begins asking them about his plans for a new jellybean factory.
Next door a grumpy old proprietor of the Platypus Amusement Park joins the fray. Those new fangled video contraptions are ruining his business! Rumor has it that some hare-brained doctor named Bruce Bunny is plotting to brainwash the children. The old man wants to take a look inside the arcade building to see what all the hubbub is about. Time for the Amazing Spider-Ham and Captain Americat to swing into action!
Who is the mysterious Marauder that is sabotaging the kid’s fun and games? Can people really live on jellybeans alone? How long will Bruce Bunny survive inside a gamma powered arcade machine? Collect the series to find out!
Goose Rider
There are no sinners tonight for the Goose Rider to redeem. Why not catch a movie?!? Oh no, someone is stealing the Goosercycle! Who can be that brave? Time for the spirit of goose’ness to jump into battle. HONK!

Reviewer Notes
This is a really fun and action packed issue. I recently reviewed a Captain Carrot comic stating that DC Comics overused the animal naming puns to the point of annoyance. That is not the case here. Spider-Ham writer, Tom Defalco, used it just enough to create a cute spin on our favorite superheroes, but the story still felt like a true Marvel Comic storyline.
The multiverse of Earth-8311 was the place to be back in the early 1980s. With the Spider-Verse introducing Peter Porker to moviegoers hopefully there will be a future for Spider-Ham, Captain Americat, and Hulkbunny. I’m giving the Marvel Tails Five stars.
