“The Eleventh Man Part 01 of 03”
Wintersgate Manor, Georgetown, Washington DC, the Baron and Merlin are sitting down for a quiet night by the Victorian fireplace, when the oak doors leading into the library slam open. On the other side, standing in the hallway, are several federal agents and some one bound into a wheelchair. Muffled screams can be heard from underneath a heavy iron helmet. Whoever the man is in the chair is in great pain.
Baron Winters demands to know how the group entered his house, but he already knows the answer. One of the agents, a woman, has some dark supernatural aura about her. She has somehow clouded the Baron’s mind. They are there for just one purpose, an exorcism. An exorcism of a former president of the United States!
Who or what is the Eleventh Man entity? Will this tragedy be a bigger scandal than Watergate? Does Merlin the leopard really get offended? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
We have another story arch to follow. The art in this issue is still done in the Hellboy style. Marv Wolfman does a really good job on the writing but there isn’t anything new here. I’m giving this issue three stars.
