“Beginnings – Part 03”
At the gates! Red Sonja and a small army of volunteers have arrived at Pah-Dishah to defend the Capitol of Hyrkania. The only problem is the local magistrate. Just how many ordinances did Sonja break in the past, anyway?
Mitra be damn! That many? Really, Red Sonja? Public urination? Sonja and Ozzyus have their job cut out for them this time.
While the People’s Court ramps up outside the city walls, underneath Hyrkanian feet, two gigantic serpents breach the steel mines below. Prince Aashim’s Viceroy tries in vain to rally the workers. Unfortunately, trust is in high demand these days. The battle must be won from above.
Can Red Sonja resolve her legal problems with a hefty fine? Will the treachery of Thulsa Doom be revealed before Pah-Dishah burns to the ground? Are there enough weapons left in the city armory to defend what is left? Collect the series to find out!
Review
I don’t know who this Prince Aashim guy is, but he certainly wins the badass MVP award for this issue. Luke Lieberman, Peter David, and Will Conrad continue to knock it out of the park as the story reaches the climax. This is definitely another four-star comic book from Dynamite Entertainment. This is an entertaining miniseries.
