“Landmark Legacy 175th Issue”
As Jonathan Hart sulks in Central Park debating his purpose in life, Jennifer Walters has just walked into the proverbial sh*t storm at the Book Law Offices. Ever since Mallory Book jumped aboard the capes and villain train Jennifer’s meeting schedule has gone off the rails. Today’s meetings include Jessica Drew, Adrian Toomes, Aleksei Sytsevich, Jeff Hagees just to name a few. But first Mallory needs Jennifer’s help securing the patent for “Bulkhustler Rope”. Never mind General “Thunderbolt” Ross.
Before the meetings get to “fun” Reed Richards and Benjamin Grimm interrupt with two phone calls. Tonight’s the night to lock horns with the new villain in town. The very man that put She-Hulk through several floors of the Baxter building. Time to suit up!
Did Home Depot really pre-order ten-thousand units of the Bulkhustler Rope? Does Christopher Mason stand a chance on Shark Tank? Will Awesome Andy have to separate parties?
“The First Rule Of Book Club Is…”
A special story to honor 175 issues of the jade giantess
Jennifer Walters hosts the first Allstar, who’s who, book club event in the lavish apartment owned by Janet Van Dyne. What is the first rule of book club? Do club members bring Chardonnay? Nope. Can children on punishment put down their phones for ten seconds? Definitely not. How about actually finishing the book? Ding, Ding, we have a winner!
Reviewer Notes
Congratulations, in my semi-full time comic book reader/collector opinion, this is She-Hulk’s first five star book in volume four of this series. Rainbow Rowell finally steps away from the one page panels and gives us two complete stories. Reminds me of the good old days.
Book Law Office has really stepped up the caseload in the last few issues. We get a plethora of cameo appearances, some I need to look up. Is that Speedball AND 8-Ball? The real gem in this issue is the Book Club banter. Funny stuff. I have one question thought, what did Franklin and Valera do to release the Wrath of Sue? Who knows. I just know this was a fun read. Come on Marvel keep giving us entertainment like this She-Hulk issue 12. Thanks!
