Convergence – Part 01 of 04
All That Glitters…
Alan Scott, known on Earth as the Sentinel, hovers over the battle terrain. He is unknown here in the Secondary Realm, but that matters little, for the scene is grim. Someone or something has manipulated the P’rdath and S’danth into genocidal slaughter. All are dead and Alan must report his findings to the Conclave.
Back on Earth, Boston, Massachusetts, Jared Stevens hunches over in his slum apartment. He has a rat problem and the refrigerator is their key target. In a sulk he pushes a conventional rat trap alongside the outdated appliance. Then with no warning a team of high-tech troopers storm through the front door.
Splinters fly, energy weapons point in every direction. Fate has no time to react. One of the tall and ugly looking men yells out “Where is Topaz?” Who the hell is Topaz, and why are these guys so interested in gems?
What is Gemworld and why does it want Jared “the Fate”? Why is a weird looking blond man springing out from inside the refrigerator? Who is going to pay all the damages to the slum lord? Collect the series to find out.
Reviewer Notes
No rats were harmed in the making of this comic book. Also, this is part one of four in the Convergence crossover event. The humor is the main key in this book. Jared Stevens is a no nonsense kinda guy.
