Review
This was another blast from the past. Thundarr the Barbarian was my favorite Saturday morning cartoon series as a kid. This comic brings back the memories of those times I had watching the show. All the villains have returned to torment our heroes.
Jason Aaron and Kewber Baal do an amazing job recapturing the spark of the source material. I have no complaints there. I do have a bone to pick with Dynamite Entertainment, unfortunately. How many advertisements does one book really need? There were a lot of pages. So much so, it gives the Archie Horror comic books a run for their money.
Dynamite, send out a damn catalog for Ookla’s sake. For this I have to knock off points. I give issue two of Thundarr the Barbarian three out of five stars.
