It’s revealed in 1983 that vampire lord Andrew Bennett turned his love, Mary, into the homicidal maniac vampire sometime around 1583. (House of Mysteries #317, 1983)

Blood Red Moon (The Order)

Sometime around the year 1584 AD, Mary, Queen of Blood, starts the order of the “Blood Red Moon”. The ranks are filled with vampires created from the lower levels of society and outcasts. (Unofficial Guesstimation — 2022)

August 1600 AD

East Meets West

In 1600 AD a Portuguese galleon runs aground on the shores of Japan. The nearby fishing village of Ketsu quickly falls under a strange new plague. Lord Tsukami orders his finest samurai warrior, Ito, to investigate the area and report back any findings. With the help of a Christian monastery, Ito and Father Pedro uncover a plot by a Spanish Vampire Lord to infest the local population.

1857 AD – New Orleans plantation, slave owner Louis DuBois is turned into a vampire by an Obeah Woman’s curse. This is the first known event where a vampire is created through voodoo magic.

Tourism To Damnation

Sometime in June 1974 AD, vampires began to use international tourism to increase their undead population. One such operation was based out of San Francisco under the shell company called Transylvania Tours LTD. The leader advertised himself as Vlad Dracula. The true identity of this man was never verified.

Vampire Societies Are Revealed

In 1978 AD it is revealed to Margot Hammer that there is a large population of vampires living in and near Greenwich Village, New York City. Psychic Advisor Madame Xanadu is aware of vampires. A vampire name Victor Christianson was responsible for the exposure.

Elder vampire, Victor Christianson, commits suicide by sunlight. Margot Hammer and Madame Xanadu learn that sunlight is still deadly to those effected by vampirism.

Being Human

July 1980 AD, it is discovered that some vampires chose to live as humans — working professions, taking wives, and living in suburbia. A well famed mystery novelist named Jess Stokley sought out a serial killer who murdered his human wife. The vampire hunted and killed the man. Then chose death by sunlight rather than living without his love.

July 1982 AD

Vampires Discovered in Gotham City!

July 1982 AD – Dick Greyson (a.k.a. Robin) discovers his college sweetheart Dala Vadim is in reality a blood drinking vampire. Unknown to the dynamic duo, vampires have infiltrated the back streets of Gotham City for decades prior to 1982. Bruce Wayne was unaware of these creatures before this event. Two days later Batman would face off with the vampire elder known as “The Monk”.

Batman Is Turned

July 1982 AD – Batman has his first battle with a real-world vampire. The vampire elder Louis DuBois (The Monk) bites Batman turning the caped-crusader into one of the undead.

There’s A Cure!

July 1982 AD – The first known cure for vampirism is revealed by Father Green of St. Jude’s Hospital. Depending on the stage of transformation, a fledgling vampire can be cure with a full blood transfusion followed by an injection of “vampire serum”. Father Green was the only known person at the time with the formula ( the key element is blood from the master vampire).

July 1982 AD – It is revealed that there is some type of vampire holding facility located somewhere within St. Jude’s Hospital. Father Green transports master vampire Louis Dubois and his sister Dala Vadim to the facility for “treatment”. Father Green gives no details on the treatment process.

Russian KGB & Blood Red Moon

In June of 1983 AD, Andrew Bennett discovers that the Russian KGB and the Blood Red Moon are working together. The Russians are providing weapons and support to the vampires for some unknown reason. At this time elements of the Russian government have become aware of vampires living in human society.

Sunbeam Weaponry

June 25th 1983 AD, vampires Andrew Bennett, Dmitri Mishkin, and Deborah Dancer discover that Russian scientists have developed sunbeam weaponry. The tech is placed in hand guns and rifles. Mary, Queen of Blood, is provided with several prototypes. Dmitri Mishkin is killed by one of the sunbeam rays.

The Clave

In October 1993 a world wide organization of vampires called the “Clave” was discovered operating out of Manhattan, New York. A vast system of tunnels leading to an underground temple were used for their nefarious purposes. It’s unknown how long the group has been in New York city, but the architecture looks ancient.

It is known that four vampires were head of the organization:
– Cormac Praxus – Guild-master
– Harmony Valentina Hamashita – Fuyo Jo Oo’ – High Priestess
– Theodore “Teddy” Macilvey – Ser-chief
– Vincent Sforza – Ser-chief

During the same confrontation with the lynch mob, one of the Vampire Bikers was engulfed in flames. The vampire named “Weasel” was able to survive being burned to a crisp.

During the Arizona State Police investigation of the “Montero” incident, a team of men equipped with advanced technology showed up on the scene claiming to be part of a specialty arm of the F.B.I. organization. The men were able to locate several vampire bodies buried in the desert sand. It is unclear at this time if these me actually work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

First Vampire Subject Escapes (R-Complex)

December 1996 AD, the first vampire subject successfully escaped the U.S. Government black-site in Dulce, New Mexico. Conspiracy theorist, Arnold Burnsteel, learn of the governments black budge program codenamed R-Complex. This facility housed various high threat targets and supernatural entities. Vampire fledgling, Nina Skorzeny, escaped with several of her cellmates.

On January 22nd 1997, Nina Skorzeny first encounters the vampire hunters calling themselves the “Graveyard Shift”. This group is sanctioned by the Catholic Church in Rome. Their charter is tasked with eliminating all supernatural threats world wide.

In March of 1997 AD, it is revealed that vampires have organized under an “elder”. Each elder has an assigned territory within the boarders of the United States (possibly world wide). It is unwise to cross into a territory uninvited.

Lance of Subotai

Master cat burglar, Selina Kyle, steals the “Lance of Subotai” from the Gotham Museum of Antiquities. The lance was pulled from the sarcophagus of Khatta-Khun which released the thousand year old vampire lord from his prison. The Lance of Subotai was forged in Uzbekistan by shamans during the invasion of Genghis Khan. The weapon was key to imprisoning the vampire lord. Days after the theft, Catwoman teamed up with vampire fledgling Nina Skorzeny to killed Khatta-Khun. Nina would be marked for death once the news reached the current vampire elders.

February 1998 AD — Gotham City, during the interrogation of vampire fledgling Nina Skorzeny the masked vigilante known as Batman is mistaken for a vampire elder. It is revealed that vampires are organized by something called “Bloodlines”

February 2018 – While investigating a series of killings in the Czech Republic, Andrew Bennett explains the difference between two Vampire Orders. The Upir and Nelapsi orders are different in many ways, with the Nelapsi vampires having two souls.
