My Rating “The Plague” The bodies lie where they fall in the streets of Varna. Bulgarian doctors insist the mysterious plague is unstoppable, while fear spreads faster than the sickness itself. The denizens of this once culturally enlightened city must remain in quarantine as police barricade every street corner, marketplace, and avenue. No one enters.
My Rating “Death of a Monster!” Note: This is a crossover story tied in with “Tomb of Dracula No.18 (1974)”. You should read the Tomb of Dracula first – per all the references from Marv Wolfman in this issue. High above Castle Dracula, a helicopter descends toward a nearby clearing. Inside the cabin, Frank Drake
My Rating “Enter: Werewolf By Night” Note: You will need to read this issue of Tomb of Dracula before reading Werewolf by Night #15. The crossover event begins here! Dracula has returned to his native Transylvania! Quincy Harker and his band of vampire hunters have destroyed the network of safehouses and coffins that once sustained
My Rating “Moon of Madness, Moon of Fear!” Frachtdorf – 1973, four American college students have taken the summer to relax in the forest hills of Bavaria. As they begin to make camp an old Gypsy woman appears before them, yet none of the teens remember her approach. A dire warning of curses and werewolves
My Rating “Nail In The Coffin” The voice, it has never been there before. It is there, that is for certain. What else could keep Jack Russell from losing his mind in the transformation from man to beast? The Darkhold? A possibility. His sworn enemy? Not even Dracula had the power to link minds with
My Rating “A Cold And Lasting Tomb!” Reader Note: A significant portion of this story takes place in Monsters Unleashed No.02, 04, and 06. The lifeless body of the monster sank deeper and deeper into the Arctic waters. Within seconds, memories began to fade as the frigid temperature overwhelmed any vitality remaining left inside of
My Rating “His Name Is Taboo” Topaz had been rescued from the desolate streets of Punjab as a young girl. The man known simply as Taboo, stopped an angry mob from executing her for witchcraft. Fortunately, those superstitious fools knew nothing of her true powers. In time, she would be tutored fully in the mystic
My Rating “A Separate War” A new war has spread across the Middle East, but ancient territorial rights and religious beliefs have nothing to do with this conflict. An invading force, much older than the civilizations which spawned these modern governments, has laid claim to Cairo and the surrounding lands. There, the god-like elementals known
My Rating “Werewolf Frankenstein” The Monster of Frankenstein has suffered significantly since his resurrection through modern science. He had been feared and hated by all of mankind. There would also be no acceptance from those born in the realm of the supernatural. The Monster would walk the earth with no purpose or sanctuary. That was
My Rating “The Battle Of The Monsters!” Marooned a shrinking chunk of ice, the Frankenstein Monster has little choice but starve to death while floating in the North Atlantic. That, of course, is if he doesn’t freeze first. The days pass as his chances of rescue grow slimmer by the moment. The ice which he
