My Rating “The Demon Of Gothos Mansion!” A woman’s silhouette stands in the pale light of a tower window. The mansion belongs to Clifton Heathrow—a man whose wealth stretches back generations. Gothos Mansion. An ominous name, but Batman has no time to research its history or meaning. Alfred’s niece is in danger within those walls.
My Rating “The Harvester of Eyes!” Gideon Cross was a model soldier. From the dark jungles of Vietnam – where he killed communists for Uncle Sam, to the mean streets of New York City, where he worked as a contract killer for a mysterious cult. Gideon was always good at following orders. That was until
My Rating “Safyia” The lead archaeologist at the Egyptian Institute of Exploration has discovered the sarcophagus of Merneptan the Plague-Giver. As the sounds of celebration fill the air around the Valley of the Kings, Doctor Safiya Mahmoud begins a tedious task. She must secure the mummified body of the tyrant pharaoh for transportation to her
My Rating “Haunted House Hustle!” In Riverdale, you don’t trick-or-treat a house; the house trick-or-treats you! Archie and Jughead thought they had seen every Halloween prank ever devised. Even the lame ones perpetrated by Reggie Mantle can get rather elaborate. However, a walking house seems to be in a league of its own. Say hello
My Rating “The Hexx Files” Mac’s body slammed into a nearby mausoleum with the force of an oncoming bus. His vision exploded into a million green stars. Whatever the hell had stepped through the portal inside Saint Roch Cemetery, it was definitely not meant for this world. Especially not New Orleans. The gumshoe slowly climbed
My Rating “Tomb Of Blood And Shadow” A Time-Nexus has reset Earth and scattered its heroes to all corners of the globe. Now, dark forces are on the rise once again. In a remote forest in Romania, Britney Waters—the Red Agent—has located an old threat capable of defeating even the Goddess of Death herself. As
My Rating “The Face At The Window” The face—it had to be there! Linda Danvers insisted that camera guru, Johnny Drew, develop the photographs again. She may spend her days pretending to be an ordinary human teenager with ordinary human flaws, but Linda knows what she saw. A little girl had stared back at her
My Rating “Night Of The Living Bones” Somewhere beneath the ruins of an ancient European castle, Doctor Adam Spektor and his secretary, Lakota Rainflower, descend into a forgotten world. The psychic impression which drew Spektor to the site grows stronger with every step. Strange inscriptions cover the crumbling walls, leading the occult investigator to a
My Rating “The Plague” The bodies lie where they fall in the streets of Varna. Bulgarian doctors insist the mysterious plague is unstoppable, while fear spreads faster than the sickness itself. The denizens of this once culturally enlightened city must remain in quarantine as police barricade every street corner, marketplace, and avenue. No one enters.
My Rating “Death of a Monster!” Note: This is a crossover story tied in with “Tomb of Dracula No.18 (1974)”. You should read the Tomb of Dracula first – per all the references from Marv Wolfman in this issue. High above Castle Dracula, a helicopter descends toward a nearby clearing. Inside the cabin, Frank Drake
