In another section of London, a different type of sun has just awakened a vampire named Lucas Brand. Brand, is the most recent victim of Dracula, turned during a battle between the Chinese mafia and the lord of vampires. Now, Doctor Sun has kidnapped and imprisoned the fledgling vampire, in the hope of studying the supernatural force which controls all undead. Unfortunately, for the doctor, Lucas Brand may have other ideas.
Will Dracula escape from London before Quincy Harker and his allies destroy the remaining vampire safe house? Who are the two couriers sequestered in the sleeper car on the Transylvanian Express? What secrets are locked inside the steel box handcuffed to Ludwig Gruber? Collect the series to find out!
Review
Down goes Blade. In comes Jack Russell, Werewolf By Night. There is a lot going on here in issue 17, but it just leads to more questions. Marv Wolfman is the master of adding layers to the onion. That will never change. Let’s pray we receive answers to these questions in the next issue of “As the Vampire World Turns”. I give this soap opera three out of five stars.
