My Rating “The Plague” The bodies lie where they fall in the streets of Varna. Bulgarian doctors insist the mysterious plague is unstoppable, while fear spreads faster than the sickness itself. The denizens of this once culturally enlightened city must remain in quarantine as police barricade every street corner, marketplace, and avenue. No one enters.
My Rating “The Witches of the Western Wood” Before the war left a missing head, a woman scarred in Sleepy Hollow bled. An abusive husband, poisoned in bed, His wife and daughters wished him dead. A pact with Scratch left two girls unfed. A test. Would the pious shelter those born of a witch? Not in a barn, or
My Rating “Moon of Madness, Moon of Fear!” Frachtdorf – 1973, four American college students have taken the summer to relax in the forest hills of Bavaria. As they begin to make camp an old Gypsy woman appears before them, yet none of the teens remember her approach. A dire warning of curses and werewolves
My Rating “Lo, The Monster Strikes!” Trapped inside the dungeon of the sorcerer Taboo, Philip Russell currently lies motionless, his soul torn from his body. My Rating “The Girl Called Cthulhu – Part 03” Time, the one thing that can’t be stopped. Not even the cavalcade of devils and demons, claimed allies of Aleister Crowley, have the power to stay history. Minky Woodcock would survive her experience at Esopus Island, but her friend H.P. Lovecraft would not. After a stint
My Rating “Seance At Spektor Manor” Dusk settled over Spektor Manor; the graying light from the windows soon turned the rooms dark inside. Lakota Rainflower and her employer, Doctor Spektor, had welcomed two sullen guests an hour prior. Linda Gray, a young woman from an affluent family, sought Spektor’s expertise under pure duress. For you
My Rating “The Fury Of A Fiend!” The Monster of Frankenstein has saved a young Gypsy woman from a stark raving murderer, only to find himself invited into their traveling caravan. The Monster agrees to join their carnival show if their seer, Madam Marguerita, shows him the location of the last living descendant of Victor
My Rating “House Of Blood And Sorrow” A local town gossip bursted into the Waverly sheriff’s office a little after 9pm that night. Before the old codger could unload his dire story upon an unexpected Sheriff, Sweeney’s thunder was stolen by a preceding phone call. It wasn’t a plane crash, it was a godforsaken Spaceman
My Rating “It’s Him!” Sturmbannführer Erich Kaempffer and his unit of SS Einsatzkommandos have arrived at the Keep. If evil was nowhere to be found at the five-hundred year old site, it had arrived today. The Major’s very first order was to round up twenty villagers and imprison them inside the keep. If one more
