“Doom Of The Gods – Part 02”
The Pictish city of Siket has fallen to the cannibal plague brought by Thulsa Doom. With the death of their water-god, Dosuma, there is no recourse for those dying of thirst. They will soon join the zombie horde.
Across the river, in a clearing, Red Sonja and her companions watch the horror as it unfolds. Death and infection come quickly to those jungle denizens. K’Pi, a Pict rescued by Talos and Sonja, begs his saviors for help defending his people. Sadly, no amount of sword work can save the Picts trapped behind those timber walls. Not even the gods above.
Will a mountain god be able to defeat Thulsa Doom and his staff of power? Can K’Pi and Red Sonja survey a bite from an infected Siketian? Where does the loyalty of Talos really reside? Collect the series to find out!
Review
Thulsa Doom has the power to destroy gods. Will any survive? I don’t know, but this was a fun issue with excellent art by Luiz Antonio. The only downside is the length of the comic book issue. It was way too short. For this, I must limit the rating to three stars. Hopefully the next issue has more content. Until next time.
