Melissa Mann was strapped to a hospital bed in New York’s most infamous mental health hospital. It had been six days since Douglas Holt and his girlfriend received their tarot reading from Madame Xanadu. The psychic had warned Melissa to abandon her work on the top secret research grant known as Project Doorway. Her partner Hampton Hill had insisted they cut a few corners to meet deadlines. Now it is too late.
Doug brought Melissa to Bellevue Hospital after the accident. For some reason Melissa’s personality and behavior completely changed, as if another person had taken over her body. Doctors at Queens Hospital performed dozens of tests but were unable to find a reason for her outlandish behaviors. Melissa’s fate now lays in the hands of one Madame Xanadu.
