Mission #02: Ghost Train (Part 04)
It’s a complete war zone outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art! In the midst of a spectral mummy swarm, Navid Hassan uses his strange powers to pull more ghosts from the void. A large impact sound explodes from the court area as Dum Dum Dugan crash-lands a S.H.I.E.L.D. quinjet in the middle of the chaos. From the breach springs Man-Thing, Dugan, and Warwolf!
Below a second team of Howling Commandos makes their way through the tunnels of the New York city sewer system. Glyph, Manphibian, and the Teenage Abomination are tasked with sneaking through a “backdoor” anyway possible. The only problem is the smell. Hit-Monkey would be proud.
Speaking of Hit-Monkey, his royal skree-ness and Vampire By Night shoot their way through a plethora of zombie commandos. They must reach the Mask of Amenhotep before the Sphinx can wield its power.
Can the combined forces of Monster, Cyborg, and monkey save the world from mummification? How many tax dollars does it cost to replace a quinjet? Why do the fine arts always have to suffer? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
Dum Dum Dugan is in full command of S.T.A.K.E. and it’s an all out assault on our funny bones. This is Marvel action at its finest as we get closer to the conclusion of the ghost train story arc. Hit-Monkey and Zombie Sitwell are the bronze star heroes of this battle. I’m giving this one another four out of five stars. If you are into horror/monster comics, you might want to pick this series up.
