“Shattered Worlds”
The Millennium Giants have been defeated but the Earth is beginning to crack open like an egg shell. Around the globe massive amounts of lava flow through the damaged ley lines. With each passing minute more cracks begin to form as the Earth’s core purges itself to the surface.
The Challengers of the Unknown and Lois Lane begin to question the old village elder who has traveled with them since Mexico. Their only option now is to decode his ancient tribal legends. If Red and Blue Superman can find the “Amulet of the Damned” spoken about in riddles, it may hold the answer to restoring the planet’s magnetic fields. The time for action is now!
Can the village elder be tied to the villain calling himself the Keeper of the Flame? Is Lois Lane more woman than two Supermen can handle? Will the energies of Clark Kent reunite in a last ditch effort to save mankind? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
This is the final chapter in the Millennium Giants story arc and I can say it was a wild ride. The best part of this was learning about some of the more obscure characters from the 1990’s DC universe. If you can find copies of this miniseries I would definitely recommend it. I have a new appreciation for the artist and writers from that time frame, and have a new hero (Steel) to check out.
