“Hell In A Handbasket – Part 02“
Dazed and confused, Logan, Spider-Man, and Hulk look around the flight bay inside of Four Freedom Plaza – Midtown, Manhattan. Seconds ago they were fighting the demon Asmodeus in the underground tunnels of Las Vegas, now the trio are sitting in Reed Richards’ experimental Gravity Wave Rider vehicle. Hulk and Johnny Storm bro-off against each other momentarily but they realize there are more pressing matters.
Elsewhere, Father Preacher is deep in thought. How did he appear in Reno? He must return to Vegas as soon as possible. Unfortunately his transportation is limited to an aging bus line. If only he could figure out how he was teleported thousands of miles away. That’s it! The reason is clear to him now.
Deep down in the tunnels of Las Vegas Ghost Rider has become surrounded by hundreds of possessed homeless people. Thousands more are taking to the streets above. It’s a full on invasion from hell itself! Asmodeus begins his attack on Mephisto’s rider.
Will the New Fantastic Four reunite in time to stop hobo hell? Does Father Preacher hold some supernatural powers and if so will he walk on water? What’s thicker, Hellfire, or Johnny’s fire? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
The storyline didn’t advance as much as I would have liked, but at least there is Asmodeus to fight. Wolverine sure likes to scrap it up with rando normies. Spider-man gets a new catchphrase. That’s a bonus. I’m giving this issue three out of five pregos for the storyline advancement.
