My Rating “Death From The Sea!” Mortally wounded by Quincy Harker’s poison dart, Dracula flees from his battle with Dr. Heinrich Mortte. In bat form the Lord of the Undead flies quickly towards the small village of Littlepool, but in his weakened state Dracula crash lands on the hard cobblestone street leading into an empty
My Rating “The Thing In The Cellar!” The first night, Malibu California, the full moon peeks over the Russell family beach house. Inside the bungalow, the searing pain of Jack’s transformation has pushed his humanity into the subconscious mind, leaving only the beast. Outside a vintage roadster races up the driveway and skids to a
My Rating “Dead By Dawn – Part 03” The 55th anniversary showing of Bela Lugosi’s Dracula is about to begin. As the fearless “Vampire Hunter” takes the stage, the roar of motorcycle engines erupts from the theater lobby. Heads turn in shock as several members of an outlaw biker gang crash through the doors and
My Rating “Dead By Dawn – Part 02” Life has returned to normal for Charlie Brewster, but for one out of work television host, fighting off a serial killer has rejuvenated Peter Vincent’s career. The famous “vampire hunter” is back in a big, big way. Locally, anyways. With the release of his new book “Fright
My Rating “Dead By Dawn” Rancho Corvallis High School, Iowa – 1986, Charlie Brewster bends down to pick-up his lunch tray from the floor. Two of the football players in his class look on in mocking glee. Schaefer was always an asshole, but ever since the Dandrige murders were covered on the local news, Charlie had
My Rating “Nightmare In Crimson” Dick Grayson awakes from a nightmare and finds himself in a strange bedroom. The visions of Dala attacking him are still fresh in his mind. The fangs, the blood. Was it really her? Before Dick can delve deeper into his memories, the voice of an elderly priest brings him back
My Rating “Blood Sport” Batman enters a seedy hotel room located at the corner of Sunset and Vine, Hollywood – California. The window was conveniently left open, not by a criminal, but the caped crusader himself. This is the temporary lodgings of Bruce Wayne the jet set traveler. Three weeks prior Batman received a tip
My Rating “Shadow Play” Deep below Wayne Manor two familiar faces are busy moving gear and equipment back into the Batcave. It’s been too long since Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson occupied this space. As the dynamic-duo begin to roll out a giant sized Lincoln’s head penny, a familiar face makes his way out of
My Rating “Earth Came A-Walkin’” Somewhere in the foothills near Cerne Abbas, England, Clay Brody guns the engine of his 750cc motorcycle as an enormous shadow darkens the countryside around him. There is no time to hesitate. The motorcycle howls in protest as Clay cranks back the throttle and pushes the machine toward sixty-five miles
My Rating “The Lycanthropy Bop” The thunder of a half dozen Harley Davidson motorcycles roared through a back alley street somewhere in Eastlyn. The nights in Gotham City always bring out the worst in people. It’s even worse when tourists come to town. Robin is on the prowl tonight and the rogue biker gang has
