“Belly Of The Beast”
The Fuhrerbunker, Berlin – Germany, doctor Morell walks towards his chauffeured staff car. The smoke wafting from ruined buildings nearby fills his nose. The air raids are becoming more frequent now as the allied forces have changed their focus. Morell stops to survey the destruction, but it’s only a brief distraction. His thoughts return to what transpired moments beforehand.
The Fuhrer is now demanding to be injected with full doses of the wunder drug. Doctor Morell tries to explain that the amount of serum being requested has never been tested on live subjects. His words fall on deaf ears as Hitler and Eva both ready themselves. The injections are given and the good doctor makes a hasty retreat towards the exit. God knows what is in store for the leader of the Third Reich.

Bruce Campbell sure likes his military tech. The US Army R&D division issues another round of hightech gadgets to Rock and his men. I have to admit I’m more entertained by the gift opening scenes than the plot itself. The writing is solid and the art is above the norm. I’m rating this issue 4 bazooka Joe’s out of 5. Thanks Bruce!
