My Rating “Hallows’ Eve” — Issue #2 What has Janine Godbe gotten herself into this time? With a bag full of magical Halloween masks, you would think at least one of them would be useful for cracking open a bank vault. Nope! Apparently, bank security is still bank security—even when you have a supernatural trick-or-treat
My Rating “The Know-It-All” Hellcat has returned to Spalding Grantham’s murder scene in search of clues. She needs to act fast, because Patsy Walker is now an official suspect in his brutal death. There is just one little problem—someone, or something, has blocked her memories of the murder. Within minutes, however, Hellcat catches a lucky
My Rating “Prologue” Night has come to the forest moon of Endor. As bonfires are being lit across the tree village of Chief Chirpa, Ewok families begin to congregate around the Royal Hut. It is time for the weekly celebration and storytelling. The tribal shaman known as Logray calls for the first tale of adventure.
My Rating “60 Magical Stories” What can one say about an iconic comic book character that hasn’t already been said? Sabrina Spellman has spent decades casting spells across comic books, television screens, cartoons, and a vast sea of merchandise. In 2022, Archie Comics celebrated the teenage witch with Sabrina: 60 Magical Stories, a massive collection
My Rating “Die And Dash” Friday night is date night at Pop’s dinner. There’s nothing like chowing down on burgers and milkshakes when you are with your favorite girl. The late night movie awaits those who have finished their meals and paid the check. What happens when a forgetful-Freddy leaves his wallet at home, and
My Rating “She’s Not There” Things have changed for Patsy Walker. Her path seemed straight enough back in New York. Her temp agency was taking off with the financial backing of her mother’s inheritance, and for once, the future looked promising. Then one domino fell after another. Hedy was certainly no help. Patsy’s lifelong frenemy
My Rating Bring On The Bombu! Two Hundred and seventy-five, that was the last tally. The number was impressive for such a conqueror as Bombu. His leaders approved, but… What of the human planet? Earth, they called it? Why has Bombu failed to subjugate this world? It started so beautifully. Bombu landed in the human’s
My Rating “Hallows’ Eve” Janine Godbe has always been dealt a bad hand in life. From an abusive childhood to falling in love with a cloned superhero, trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes. Since her release from prison, Janine has tried to go straight and build something resembling a normal life with Ben
My Rating “Target Zero” Deep inside the Führerbunker, Sgt. Rock goes mano a mano with the zombie Führer und Reichskanzler himself. Boosted by some kind of Nazi wunder-serum, Hitler yanks an American bayonet from his upper jaw and screams in rage. His necro-enhanced hands slash at the American soldier as Rock quickly realizes just how
My Rating “Betty: The Final Girl” Betty Cooper sits in the Lodge Family’s mountain top chateau watching a string of 1980’s slasher flicks on a ridiculously oversized home theater system. Normally Veronica would be at her friend’s side bragging about the overpriced tech but she was called away on a nighttime errand. This “girl’s night
