Reviewer Notes
Aleister Crowley is a pussy cat! Harry Houdini, not such a stand-up guy! Down is up, up is down. Welcome to the bizarre world of Minky Woodcock and the inner workings of the occult.
Titan Comics has a history of picking the crème de la crème of stories to bring their readers. Writer/Artist Cynthia Von Buhler’s work here is no exception. I truly enjoyed this comic book from cover to cover. It is apparent that Buhler thoroughly researched her characters and their various pitfalls within the time of 1926. Most comics I have read involving historical personalities have been slanted at best. Not here! That’s why I give issue #1 five out of five stars.
