Reviewer Notes
I got to be honest I’m not liking this version of Patsy Walker. It’s really bumming me out. I much prefer the fun version of Patsy Walker A.K.A Hellcat from 2015-2017. I know I missed a big chunk of her story, but how did she lose so much? The dad situation is a drag too. Dorothy Walker did some serious rewrites if this is Patsy’s real childhood past.
There, now that I’ve ranted, this is a solid story so far. We are still being introduced to the key players in the murder mystery. I’m a bit confused about the locations, however. I thought the events were taking place in Centerville. Why are they in San Francisco? There was one scene that made me roll my eyes. Hedy Wolfe calls the police on Hellcat. The cops arrive in mere seconds. Yeah right. Do the West Coast po-po have teleporter technology now? I have to go with three out of five stars this time. I miss the fun Hellcat.
