“Blade: Red Band – Part 02”
A new vampire threat has risen from the ashes of the Blood Hunt event. A warlord named Pontious Van Helsing has taken control of the city of Mowloon, set in the corrupt political environment of Southeast Asia. Now, Blade has teamed up with the local vigilante Elena to stop the bloodsucking tyrant from creating the next Vampyrsk.

Blade has a new sword and sidekick, but will this series be as uninteresting as his previous run? So far, no. Unfortunately, I’m skeptical that Red Band will attract a new audience, or even hold his current fan base. I guess we will have to see. I give this issue three out of five stars.
