Murderworld Part 04 – Murder By Moonlight

Murderworld. The traps and L.M.D. (Life Model Decoys) have eliminated all but four. Now the
game has changed! The remaining players have made an uneasy alliance with each other.
Their new objective is to kill the man behind the games, the one calling himself Arcade.

Can a former EMT worker, a one armed MMA fighter, a defunct supervillain, and a Hydra agent
make their way backstage to the control booth? Will Marina Komarova recognize the Mark V
targeting pattern before it’s too late? Who is responsible for the faulty Moon Knight production
work? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

This book was recommended to me by one of my local comic shop workers. I like the older
Moon Knight books, and I’ve ran across Arcade in the Patsy Walker A.K.A Hellcat series, so I
purchased the issue. Apparently this is book four in the Murderworld miniseries. Well that sucks.
I started the story in the middle. My life story, apparently.

The read order is the following: Murderworld: Avengers #01, Murderworld: Spider-Man #01,
Murderworld: Wolverine #01, and this issue. Who has two thumbs and is dumping still more
money out to get the back issues? This…guy…!

Overall the Murderworld: Moon Knight book is very short. I knew little about the characters in
this part of the arc, but we get some back story on Marina Komarova and her dealings with
Hydra. I guess that’s cool? Leap-Frog is one of the finalists. Okay, I guess? Arcade is shown to
be very predictable. Who would have guessed? Without reading the previous books, and just
going off what I read here, I’m giving ‘Murderworld Part 04 – Murder By Moonlight’ three out of
five stars.
