Hell…Or Something Like That
Daimon Hellstrom, Patsy’s ex-hubby, has just sent Hellcat to some other realm of fire. Bummer! Why is She-Hulk here? This land of fire and brimstone has all kinds of surprises instore for the girl from Centerviille. Can anyone say Centerville High School? Why is everyone dress like their living in the 1950s? Oh…sh*t!
Who is this trickster called Belial? Can a vampire really bite a demon and get away with it? Does Telepathy supersede dark magic? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
This is the first time I’ve come across the Belial demon! Nice! In this issue we get a throwback to the original Patsy Walker comics which started in 1944. This was the world that Patsy’s mom created in the fictional world comic book (which is basically the same as the real world, 1944 version). There are some funny callback references in issue ten of Hellcat. There is some low level woke message stuff in here which some reader might not enjoy.
I’m giving this one a four out of five starts. Hopefully we get to see more Belial in future issues. His demon robes are rockin’.
