Review
It took me a year to finish this miniseries, but I’m glad I did. Merry “Merri” Holiday falls in love with Satan and has a love child (Jinx). One thing leads to another, but Merry pays for the deal she makes with the Devil. A cancer diagnosis in her case. She becomes hell-bound, leaving Jinx to figure out life on her own. It’s a sad ending with a moral. Welcome to the Archie Horrorverse.
Out of the three Riverdale Armageddon stories thus far, I really enjoyed the Cursed Library the most. Writers Eliot Rahal and Magdalene Visaggio have crafted a story with meaning and soul. The artwork by Craig Cermak and Matt Herms is stylized and distinct. I loved every minute of this series. I give this final issue four out of five stars. The series as a whole is a rock solid four out of five stars overall. If you like Archie horror comics, this one should be in your cursed library.
