My Rating “The Nine Lives Of Salem” The animals are surrounding, their eyes shining red with demonic energies. They begin herding the enemy of their masters. The prisoner is no mere mortal or witch. This was Salem Saberhagen in tow. The warlock polymorphed into a cat as punishment for immoral crimes too many to list.
My Rating “Challenge Of The Man-bat” Next week the Gotham Museum of Natural History will premiere a new exhibit on night-creatures, but Curator Wilkins is worried about the upcoming deadline. Dr. Kirk Langstrom, the scientist behind the zoological displays, has fallen grossly behind on setting up oversize bat replicas that will hang from the ceiling.
My Rating “Save The Last Dance” Thurgood Trapley, a millionaire philanthropist, and all around nasty old man, has just hit the jackpot. Or, shall we say, his money paid to hire the scientists who hit the jackpot for him. In either case, one retired Broadway dancer, a man of science, does not make. For old
My Rating “Bad Reception” On Planet Amanna, somewhere in the Draco Galaxy, the now youthful looking Agatha Harkness has retreated from Earth to enjoy the magic power world far from her enemies. To anyone else, escaping their legal and otherworldly punishments would suffice, but not Lady Harkess. She is always prying into the lives of
My Rating “To Kill A Vampire!” Edith Harker had been slain by the hand of her own father! Dracula has shown that his evil has no bounds. As Quincy Harker and his team of vampire hunters pay their last respects to the deceased, Blade argues with his new allies about their timing. They can mourn
My Rating “Night of the Screaming House!” Dracula has kidnapped Edith Harker, daughter of veteran vampire hunter Quincy Harker. Now Frank Drake and his motley crew of slayers must infiltrate the Count’s newest sanctuary—a mysterious estate known only as Whispering Hell. As the vampire hunters race through the fog-covered outskirts of London, Dracula puts the
My Rating “Bog Beast” The monster had crawled from the dark ooze filling the La Brea Tar Pits, searching for knowledge of the surface world above him. His kind had tunneled deep into the earth during the last ice age, but their elders grew weary in the dark places not meant for the living. In
My Rating “The Fury Of A Fiend!” The Monster of Frankenstein has saved a young Gypsy woman from a stark raving murderer, only to find himself invited into their traveling caravan. The Monster agrees to join their carnival show if their seer, Madam Marguerita, shows him the location of the last living descendant of Victor
My Rating “The Voodoo-Man!” Dracula has returned to the cobblestone streets of Covent Garden, a shopping district of old London, to seek those who had tried to destroy him. The night air is thick with icy smog, but for the undead this is a welcome nuisance. Vampires often use the weather to their advantage when
My Rating “The Room Of Madness!” The rug had survived the centuries, passed from one hand to another, all in an epic journey of evil. When business mogul Aldous Benton learned about the Tabriz Rose from his Manhattan art dealer, no price would be too high. Just thinking about the history of that Persian rug
