“The Sinister Secret Of Sarnak!”

Trapped in the sewers underneath Century City, a mind-controlled werewolf waits for Sarnak to give him his next command. Standing over the pit in which Lissa Russell and her brother are shackled, the masked controller reveals his involvement with the secret criminal organization known only as the ‘Committee’. As the mentally sedated beast lay groaning on the muck-stained concrete, Lissa looked up in disbelief.

The whole plot to kidnap Jack Russell had nothing to do with exposing his curse to the world. No. Sarnak was building an army of terrorists from the local homeless and mentally insane. The werewolf was just a linchpin in the Committee’s plan to cause mass chaos on the streets of Los Angeles. Little did they know that the beast had his own plans.

Will detective Lou Hackett of the LAPD find enough evidence to charge Jack Russell in the recent slasher attacks reported around the Hollywood Hills area? Is Phillip Russell involved in the secret cabal of businessmen known as the Committee? Does the Russell family curse lie dormant in Lissa as well? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

Look out Hippies, Sarnak and his dregs of society are going to get you! Even the police can’t save themselves from the terror known as Werewolf By Night. This issue is hands down one of my favorites so far. Tom Sutton has some amazing horror art and Gerry Conway really knows how to turn the screws on flower children.

Will Lisa Russell go full werewolf? I don’t know, but Werewolf By Night #10 is a five star comic book all day, every day. I can’t wait for the next installment in the werewolves of Hollywood drama series.
