Earth 1300 AD has fallen at the hands of the Deadite armies! Wait, no, Earth 2093 AD has fallen to the hands of the… No, that already fell to the Droidites! Right? Okay, so now Earth 1993 AD has fallen to the present day, but recently returned from the past, Evil Ash. If only the Digital Wiseman was here to straighten out the complicated String Theory, that would be great!
Good Ash has returned to London 1993 AD only to find one of his evil doppelgangers knocking back the brewskis as his army celebrates their total domination of the world. What they don’t realize is Ash Prime has returned with not one, but three Necronomicons. But, will it be enough to stop everything from sliding into darkness? Collect the series to find out!
Reviewer Notes
One of the Ash variants seems to be getting close to victory, but the story has slowed to an almost snail’s pace. Dynamite Entertainment, we need closure soon. This is a good series, I would hate to see it stray down the path of ambiguity — as the current Red Sonja run has done. Please don’t take that route!
I’m giving this issue a three out of five stars. The art and fun are still present in all three timelines. Someone just needs to give the conclusion a good kick in the pants. Give us the sugar, baby!
